Giving Production Equipment a Second Life: BMPE's Pet Food Processing Project
When a well-established South African canned food and condiment manufacturer acquired the production assets of a former canned pet food operation, BMPE played a key role in recovering and redeploying the machinery, giving a complete production setup a new lease on life.
The project involved the acquisition of the former operation’s processing equipment and a complete canning line, together with a wide range of supporting machinery.
From production facility to BMPE’s warehouse
Following the acquisition, BMPE undertook the dismantling and removal of the equipment from the former production facility. The machinery was carefully dismantled, transported and brought to BMPE’s warehouse, where the equipment was inspected to ensure that it was in good working condition before being prepared for collection by the new purchaser.
The project involved a substantial amount of equipment, including a complete canning line, providing the client with access to established processing and packaging machinery for its own manufacturing operation.
